I’ll be putting links here to particular pieces of writng available on the net that have had a permanent influence on my thinking. I got the idea of a library from Steven Den Beste’s brilliant but now no longer updated USS Clueless. His library is here. Fitingly for my first entry the only link I can find to Water Russell Meade’s essay The Jacksonian Tradition is through a mirror maintained on USS Clueless. It was though this essay that I came to understand what happened to me on 9/11. I’d known all my adult life that my head was Jeffersonian; I came to know on 9/11 that my heart was Jacksonian.
